Yes, it is necessary to drill 4 holes in your ceiling to mount the Lightswing®. The round base plate of the Lightswing® is secured to the ceiling with four screws. Then you can slide and rotate the arm of the Lightswing®, allowing you to move the pendant lamp freely.
Please note: screws and plugs for attaching the Lightswing® are not included.
